Something that I have loved about the flower field lately is how grounding it is. While much of the world is either paused or in chaos, the flowers bloom even still. They provide respite from the confusion and pain and offer beauty that we crave. It’s hard work, don’t get me wrong— but hard work is good and grounding.

Ladies, gentlemen, friends, countrymen… it’s time to start seeding your tomatoes if you want to have some juicy homegrown tomatoes come summer. I used to not love tomatoes, but ever since eating them garden fresh, I cannot wait for them to be in season again. Put a little salt and olive oil on a tomato slice… mm. I’m jazzed about it.

Okay okay, so for a good while I have been telling y’all that I would give garden updates on here regularly. As you may have noticed, I haven’t done a great job at that. At all. BUT that’s changing people!! I am so proud of Grant and so excited about everything happening in the garden right now that I just have to share with you guys.
